Major National Ceremonies

Since 1961, the Central Bank has been issuing commemorative coins showing major national ceremonies and important figures. On September 30, 2005, the amendments to the “Regulations Governing the Issuance of Gold and Silver Coins and Commemorative Notes and Coins” have been announced. Thenceforth, themes have been limited to important ceremonies or holidays of our country, major international events hosted by our country, or other events of special significance for our country.
