Third Series

The Chinese Zodiac Commemorative Coin Sets feature the Chinese zodiac for every given year. The first set went on sale in 1993, and so far two series have been issued. The first series was sold between 1993 and 2004 and contains a themed medal bearing the image of the Chinese zodiac for the year and coins of various denominations. The second series went on sale in 2005 and contains a commemorative silver coin bearing the image of the Chinese zodiac for the year and NT$50 and NT$20 coins.
